My tenth assignment was to create an image that corresponds with an idiom from a given list. I chose "drive someone up a wall."
The idiom “you’re driving me up the wall” literally means you are causing me to run up a wall. However, when this phrase is used it is intended to mean you are annoying me. To create the image for this image I combined three photos. The brick wall was used as the background for the image. I used the eraser tool to cut out the car and the runner and then pasted them into the brick wall file. I then used the rotate tool, flip tool, scale tool, and move tool to align the images as I liked. After creating the image, I added the text. I chose the cream color because it wasn’t as loud as regular white, but it still allowed the text to pop. It also corresponded with the color of the Porsche. The alignment of the text was intended to represent being driven up a wall and I chose a bold font to express annoyance. Overall this was a fun image to create.
